Stories of overcoming challenges for the greater good of others are meaningful for this season. This is the season where we can experience spring as a sign of having overcome the cold and harsh winter. Or Christ overcoming death.
As an example, “The Little Red Hen”, is a story in which she saves her friends, the cat and the mouse, from the fox. And with the help of the little red hen, the cat and the mouse learn to work with their strength united for the good of the community.
Nature stories involving butterflies might also be meaningful for this transforming season but only if nature has actually awakened to the extent of the first flowers beginning to bloom and butterflies are hatching out.
